2013 Open House

The Palatine Township Road District held its 1st Annual Road District Meet & Greet on Saturday, October 12 from noon until 5:00 p.m.  Although the weather was not exciting, the atmosphere was!  Several families and interested individuals visited the Road District Garage.  They were greeted by our friendly staff and Highway Commissioner, Tom Kaider.  Upon entering the Garage everyone was able to enjoy an Oktoberfest Celebration with bratwursts, potato salad, sauer kraut  and cookies.  The smaller celebrant received a small pumpkin and construction vehicle toy to take home.  Everyone met the team responsible for the upkeep of the Township’s roads and asked questions regarding the vehicles and equipment used for the maintenance.  Check out the festivities below…
